Daniel Bjarnason and Pekka Kuusisto join forces in Iceland. Kuusisto will perform the Icelandic premiere of Daniel Bjarnason’s Violin Concerto with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra conducted by the composer on 18 March at Harpa Hall, Reykjavík. Daniel and Pekka’s recent release of the violin concerto recorded for Sono Luminus has been critically acclaimed. The concert celebrates Daniel Bjarnason and the Iceland Symphony’s recent Grammy nomination for Best Orchestral Performance for the album Concurrence.
