The Hallé is set to welcome the return of ​‘outstanding young Norwegian conductor’ Tabita Berglund in their summer season. She conducts two concerts of Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, Golijov’s Last Round and Beethoven’s Symphony No.7 on 17 June at the Bridgewater Hall. A streamed performance will be available through the Hallé’s website from 24 June. 

The Hallé are performing live concerts again as of 3 June and Berglund will be conducting in front of some of their first live audiences in over a year. She last performed with the orchestra in November 2019, making her UK debut. Berglund will be interviewed live on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune on 16 June to discuss her upcoming concerts in Manchester.
