Tabita Berglund makes her Spanish debut with Barcelona Symphony Orchestra in the iconic L’Auditori on 13 November, conducting Arvo Pärt’s Tabula rasa, with violin soloists Vera Martínez Mehner and Abel Tomàs, followed by Sibelius’ Symphony No.7. Back in October Berglund travelled to Glasgow, stepping in at short notice to make her Scottish debut with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Joining Boris Giltburg for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3, she also conducted Sibelius’ Symphony No.7, and the performance is available to watch on-demand as part of the Orchestra’s Digital Season from 19:30 UK-time on 6 November.

Other recent performances include the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Berglund’s debut with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra; upcoming engagements this season include debuts with the Bergen Philharmonic and Helsingborg Symphony orchestras and a return visit to the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
