Violinist Alina Pogostkina performs at a special edition of the MDR Musiksommer Festival in Germany this week, with cellist Maximilian Hornung at the Arche Nebra planetarium in Nebra, a mystic place, where the famous 3600 years old Nebra Sky Disk has been found back in 1999.

Their two duo recitals on 31 July will feature a programme of J. S. Bach, Glière and Kodály against a unique background of architecture and panoramic nature of the Thuringian region. The concerts will be recorded for broadcast by MDR.
