Alina Pogostkina joins the Philharmonia Orchestra and Xian Zhang for four concerts to perform Brahms’ concerto for violin at Bedford Corn Exchange (28 March), De Montfort Hall Leicester (29 March), The Ark Basingstoke (30 March) and at the Royal Festival Hall (31 March). 

Following which, she returns to the BBC Philharmonic to present her interpretation of Prokofiev’s Concerto for Violin No.1 under the baton of Clemens Schuldt. The programme includes Thomas Adès’ Three Studies from Couperin and Schubert’s Symphony No.9.
