This April Alina Pogostkina returns to Scandinavia for two concerts with Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in Stockholm and Gothenburg’s Konserthus (19 and 20 April) performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto under the baton of Karl-Heinz Steffens. The evening programme includes works by both Mendelssohn siblings: an overture by Fanny, and a violin concerto by Felix.

Alina’s spring season started off with a highly anticipated return to RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra performing Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto at Dublin’s National Concert Hall (23 March) with Clemens Schuldt. Alina then travelled to Provence to perform chamber music works by contemporary French composer Eric Tanguy together with partners including Rosanne Philippens and Claudio Bohórquez on 30 March at Festival Aix-en-Provence.
