Lisa Batiashvili joins the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Simon Rattle for a European tour. Performing the Berg Violin Concerto, Batiashvili joins the Orchestra at the Barbican London on 19 January and 13 February, Philharmonie de Paris on 25 January, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on 18 February, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden on 20 February, Openhaus Bonn on 22 February, and Philharmonie Luxembourg on 23 February.

The tour also marks a return to the Berg Violin Concerto after 15 years. In a recent interview with The Strad, Batiashvili commented that the piece is very different from the Romantic concerti she so often performs but she is nevertheless very happy to come back to it: ​“I’m so positive that with the right people you can sometimes open your heart to something that you never thought of.”
