Lisa Batiashvili is Artistic Director of Audi Sommerkonzerte Ingolstadt

Lisa Batiashvili begins her first season as the Artistic Director of Audi Sommerkonzerte Ingolstadt. For this two-week festival, Batiashvili has programmed orchestras such as Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks with Daniel Harding, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen with Paavo Järvi (featuring Lisa in the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto), and the Georgian Chamber Orchestra with Christoph Altstaedt and Nino Machaidze. Chamber music highlights include appearances by Yulianna Avdeeva, Gidon Kremer, Giedrė Dirvanauskaitė, the Hermès Quartet, Les Vents Français featuring François Leleux, and Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet in piano trio with Batiashvili.
The Festival opens with Philharmonie Salzburg performing the soundtrack live to Disney’s Fantasia, and the closing concert is a celebration of France with Les Siècles, François-Xavier Roth and the Audi children’s choir performing works by Bizet, Saint-Saëns, and Berlioz.
