PATRICK HAHN DEBUTS WITH MÜNCHNER RUNDFUNKORCHESTER
28/6/2019
This summer Patrick Hahn makes his conducting debut with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, in a concert that marks the 25th anniversary of the orchestra’s Space Night series. The programme features works by contemporary composers such as Charles Ives, John Adams and John Williams, presenting a multimedia journey through space and time against a space-art visual background. The concert will take place in Munich on 2 July at the Circus-Krone-Bau.
The concert culminates an exciting season for the young conductor, following successful debuts with the Hamburger Symphoniker at the Elbphilharmonie, Wiener Symphoniker and Dresdner Philharmonie. After Munich, Hahn will return to Tiroler Festspiele Erl, where he will conduct a programme with works by Beethoven, Bartók and Mendelssohn in his first collaboration with the Camerata Salzburg on 7 July.
