Kent Nagano returns to Cologne this week to conduct Concerto Köln in a programme of Wagner and Bruckner on 16 May. Sophie Harmsen, mezzo-Soprano takes the stage to perform Wagner’s infamous Wesendonck Lieder, orchestrated by Felix Josef Mottl followed by Nagano and the Orchestra with Bruckner’s monumental Symphony No.3 in D minor, dedicated to Richard Wagner.
