Kent Nagano premieres the highly anticipated German premiere of George Benjamin’s Lessons in Love and Violence. The production, which runs from 7 April – 18 April, is directed by Katie Mitchell and coproduced with amongst others, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden where it had its World Premiere in May 2018. The new cast includes Harrison Parrott’s own, Georgia Jarman who makes her company debut with Staatsoper Hamburg as the Queen in the role of Isabel. 

Later this month, Kent conducts productions of Fidelio and Parsifal in Hamburg before returning to the U.S. for concerts with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Minnesota Orchestra.
