Jiří Rožeň debuts with Ulster Orchestra & BBC NOW
8/2/2019
Jiří Rožeň makes important UK debuts conducting Ulster Orchestra in their lunchtime series, and later on with BBC NOW at St George’s in Bristol.
In an all-Czech programme in Belfast, Jiří will be featuring works by Dvořák, Suk and Kabeláč. In Bristol, Jiří will begin with works by Smetana and Dvořák, before joining the forces with the Ukranian violinist Aleksey Semenenko who recently joined the prestigious BBC New Generation Artist programme.
Both performances follow successful debuts with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and BBC Philharmonic earlier this season.
