Jiří Rožeň returns to Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava co conduct an all-Janáček programme featuring iconic Sinfonietta and Taras Bulba. As a conclusion of the Janáček Year and Janáček Marathon Festival in Ostrava, the concert will also mark 100th anniversary of an independent Czech Republic.
After successful debuts with the BBC Philharmonic and Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin earlier this autumn, Jiří’s highlights of the 2018/19 season include appearances with Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra.
