Just under a season-and-a-half into her tenure as Chief Conductor and Artistic Leader of the Trondheim Symfoniorkester, Han-Na Chang has extended her contract with the Orchestra through to the 2022/23 season. “I am absolutely delighted to renew my contract with the Trondheim Symfoniorkester” she says. “This is an Orchestra whose musicians play with so much passion from the heart and dedication to the composer, with a fearless sense of adventure and imagination. I am so excited and happy to continue our collaboration, and to share the great music with our audience here at home and on tour.”
Roar Leinan, the Director of the orchestra commented that “from the very beginning of our collaboration, the orchestra has really enjoyed her dynamic leadership. We now look forward with pleasure and great expectation to our continued musical partnership, and the continuation of our already established strategic effort.”
This marks another exciting development in a season for Ms Chang which also holds debuts with the likes of the Toronto Symphony, Naples Philharmonic and Minnesota Orchestra as well as return visits to the Oslo Philharmonic and Gothenburg Symphony orchestras.
