Akiko Suwanai returns to Orchestra National de Lyon to perform Bernstein’s Serenade at the closing concert of the Variations Classiques Festival in Annecy. The event marks the first collaboration between Akiko Suwanai and (emerging) Finnish conductor Dalia Stasevska. 

In 2018/19 season, Akiko Suwanai will be debut with Staatskapelle Dresden and Peter Eötvös as well as with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and Susanna Mälkki. Other highlights include a Japan tour with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Vladimir Jurowski, as well as returns to the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse with Klaus Mäkelä and Japan Philharmonic Orchestra with Pietari Inkinen.
