Lukáš Vondráček performs with Prague Symphony Orchestra

In April Lukáš Vondráček returns to the Czech Republic for two concerts with Prague Symphony Orchestra performing Rachmaninov’s Concerto for Piano No.3 at the Rudolfinum (18 and 19 April) under the baton of Jac van Steen. He then heads off to Tokyo to perform a solo recital of works by Brahms and Schumann at Musashino Shimin Bunka Kaikan (10 May) followed by his highly anticipated debut with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra teaming up with young Finnish conductor Klaus Mäkelä. On the programme is Beethoven’s Concerto for Piano No.4 and the concert takes place at Suntory Hall (13 May). To finish off his trip, Lukáš will then travel to Sydney to perform Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3 with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra (16, 18 and 19 May) under the baton of John Wilson at the Sydney Opera House.
