Lukáš Vondráček opens Baltimore Symphony Orchestra season
8/9/2017
Lukáš Vondráček opens the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra season performing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.3. This concerto won him the 2016 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, under the baton of Marin Alsop. Concerts take place on 22 September in Baltimore and 23 September in North Bethesda. This follows a highly successful tour of Brazil including recitals and concerts with the orchestras of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Florianópolis.
This very special occasion marks the start of an exciting season that sees him make debuts with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra at the Grand Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
