Stephen Hough performs Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Andris Nelsons at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, on 27 and 29 November. The performances are being recorded live by Hyperion Records for future release. Hough also performs the concerto with the CBSO in Cardiff on 28 November.

In March 2015 Hough returns to Birmingham to complete the disc, recording Dvořák’s Piano Concerto in live concerts with the orchestra, again with Andris Nelsons. Ahead of this, on 4 and 5 December, he performs the Dvořák Concerto in Lisbon with the Gulbenkian Orchestra and Paul McCreesh.
