Stephen Hough returns to the Edinburgh International Festival for a recital on 18 August. His performance at the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh features works by Schubert, Franck and Liszt, as well as his own Piano Sonata III ‘Trintas’, and is broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
Later this month Hough returns to the BBC Proms, marking his 25th concerto appearance since his Proms debut more than 30 years ago. On 23 August he appears at the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Alexander Vedernikov to perform Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini.
