Jean-Yves Thibaudet returns to New York for six performances across five days in the David Geffen Hall and Carnegie Hall. 

To begin, Thibaudet performs Ravel’s Piano Concerto in D (for Left Hand) with the New York Philharmonic and Joshua Weilerstein (17, 18, 19 and 20 Jan). He then appears alongside members of the New York Philharmonic for a matinee chamber concert featuring Frank’s Piano Quintet in F minor (20 Jan). 

Thibaudet then performs at Carnegie Hall with Janine Jansen and the Dover Quartet (21 Jan) in a programme featuring Debussy’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in G minor, Grieg’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in G major, and Chausson’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet. The concert will be recorded by Medici TV for delayed broadcast.
