Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Robert Spano open the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra 2017/18 season with performances of Bernstein’s Age of Anxiety (21, 23, 24 September). The appearance marks a return to the orchestra for Jean-Yves since his performances in 2015. This concert opens the 16th season as Music Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for Robert Spano.
Next in the diary, Jean-Yves will perform with Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra under Krzysztof Urbanski for their season opening concerts (29 and 30 September) with performances of Gershwin’s Concerto in F.
Jean-Yves Thibaudet also opens the San Diego Symphony season performing Listz’s Piano Concerto No.2 with Edo de Waart on 6 and 7 October.
