Jean-Efflam Bavouzet awarded RNCM Fellowship

Jean-Efflam Bavouzet is awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Northern College of Music for demonstrating outstanding achievement in professional practice. Jean-Efflam joins a distinguished list of world-renowned musicians, conductors, composers, educators, and advocates who have received the RNCM fellowship over the last 40 years. Previous recipients include: Placido Domingo, Sir John Dankworth, Dame Joan Sutherland, Dame Patricia Routledge, Dame Janet Baker, Sir Mark Elder, András Schiff, Hans Werner Henze and Sir Bernard Lovell.
Bavouzet joined the RNCM as International Chair in Piano in September this year. Graham Scott, Head of Keyboard Studies, commented: “He brings to the role a wealth of experience as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and teacher”.
