Jean-Efflam Bavouzet returns to Cleveland and Seattle
29/1/2016
This week Jean-Efflam Bavouzet returns to the US to perform a number of concerts with both the Cleveland Orchestra and Seattle Symphony Orchestra.
Performances in Cleveland take place at Severance Hall on the 4, 5 and 6 February where Bavouzet performs Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major under Vladimir Jurowski.
Bavouzet then goes on to perform Bartók’s Piano Concerto No.3 in Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on the 11, 13 and 14 February under Ludovic Morlot. He also joins the principal players of the Seattle Symphony for a chamber concert on 16 February performing Magnard’s Quintet for Piano and Winds.
These concerts follow Bavouzet’s acclaimed return to the San Francisco Symphony earlier this season where he was described as “Flawless” and “technically brilliant” (San Francisco Examiner) and a “total triumph” (ResMusica).
