As part of the Munchner Opernfestspiele, Catherine Naglestad returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper as Senta in Peter Konwitschny’s acclaimed production of Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer. Conducted by Asher Fisch, the run opens on 19 July.

Next season, Catherine continues to expand on an already varied repertoire, adding Santuzza (Cavalleria rusticana) at Opernhaus Zürich, and Carlotta in Shreker’s Die Gezeichneten in Munich, alongside a Metropolitan Opera debut as Strauss’ Salome.
