Eivind Gullberg Jensen conducts Verdi’s Messa da Requiem, featuring Oleg Tsibulko, with the Noord Nederlands Orkest on 22, 23 and 24 February. 

Making his debut with the Noord Nederlands Orkest, Norwegian conductor Eivind Gullberg Jensen has previously conducted orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Münchner Philharmoniker, Oslo and Royal Stockholm philharmonic orchestras, and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. Equally at home on the concert platform as in the opera house, Eivind made his debut at the 2017 Festival d’Aix-en-Provence in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress – with Paul Appleby in the title role – and gave his first performances at Wiener Staatsoper last season with Puccini’s Tosca, followed by La bohème this season and a further return in the future.
