Catherine Naglestad opens an exciting 2017/18 season with a return to Opernhaus Zürich as Salome in Sven-Eric Bechtolf’s production under Ulf Schirmer, opening 28 September. 

Following on from her major success at the end of last season as Carlotta in Krzysztof Warlikowski’s new production of Schreker’s Die Gezeichneten, this season includes appearances at Dutch National Opera as Tove in Pierre Audi’s production of Gurrelieder, under Marc Albrecht, as Tosca at Wiener Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper in Berlin and at the New National Theatre Tokyo, as well as a reprise of her touching portrayal as Minnie in Puccini’s La fanciulla del West in Barrie Kosky’s acclaimed production at Opernhaus Zürich.
