Alice Sara Ott and Edo de Waart join forces in Washington

Alice Sara Ott returns to Washington’s National Symphony Orchestra to perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1 in three concerts on 8, 9 and 10 June. Under the baton of Edo de Waart, the programme also includes Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 3 and Mason Bates’ Garages of the Valley, the latter being dedicated to him. Edo will conduct the work again next month with the Music Academy of the West along with Rachmaninov’s Symphony No.2.
Alice’s highlights for the 2017/18 season include performances in London for the International Piano Series and Liszt’s Totentanz with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antonio Pappano. She will also give recitals in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Sichuan and Beijing and return to the US this autumn to give concerts with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Paavo Järvi.
