Edo de Waart returns to New York Philharmonic to conduct three concerts on 30 November, 1 and 2 December at the David Geffen Hall at the Lincoln Center. de Waart is joined by Emanuel Ax for Mozart’s Piano Concert No.20. The remainder of the programme comprises Brahms’ Symphony No.2 and the world premiere of a New York Philharmonic commission: Bent Sørensen’s Evening Land.
