Stephen Hough performs Saint-Saëns with Staatskapelle Weimar

Stephen Hough appears with Staatskapelle Weimar and conductor Kirill Karabits on 12 and 13 March. Hough performs Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.5, and these concerts also feature Saint-Saëns’ Orient et Occident and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.
Later in March Stephen Hough appears with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, performing Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, before engagements with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Hong Kong Philharmonic. In Kuala Lumpur Hough will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.4 on 25 and 26 March, while in Hong Kong he will offer performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 on 31 March and 1 April.
