New Zealand tenor and Adler Fellow Pene Pati sings the Messenger in Francesca Zambello’s new production of Aida under Nicola Luisotti at San Francisco Opera. Performances run from 5 November to 6 December and follow his previous appearances there this season in the world premiere of Bright Sheng’s Dream of the Red Chamber.

In the summer, Pene will sing Duca di Mantua in Rigoletto for the theatre, again conducted by Nicola Luisotti, marking his debut in the role.
