Esther Yoo starts her 2016/17 season with performances in Germany and South Korea with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern and Shi Yeon Sung.

Together they perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in Saarbrücken, Germany (16 September), and Suwon (21 September) and Seoul (24 September), Korea. The concert on 16 September is broadcast live by SR2 Kulturradio, and video-streamed live through the websites of DRP, Saarländischer Rundfunk and SWR Classic.

Esther then joins the Charlotte Symphony and Christopher Warren-Green (30 September and 1 October), and Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Karina Canellakis (8 and 9 October) for further performances of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. Whilst in North America, Esther also performs Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1 with the Minnesota Orchestra and Osmo Vänksä (3, 4, and 5 November).
