This month Víkingur Olafsson embarks upon a Nordic Tour with Orkester Norden under the baton of Lawrence Foster. 

Together they perform Grieg’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in Aalborg (20 August), Copenhagen (21), Stockholm (22), Uppsala (24) and Helsinki (25).

The tour follows Víkingur’s successful fifth edition of Reykjavik Midsummer Music at Harpa Hall where he is Artistic Director. In February 2017 he will present, for the second time, the Vinterfest in Sweden, having taken over the artistic directorship from Martin Fröst last year.
