This week sees Daniel Blendulf at the helm of Dala Sinfonietta alongside John Daszak and Anna Larsson in Ulrik Qvale’s production of Bizet’s Carmen on 13, 19 and 20 August at Dalhalla Opera in Sweden.

John Daszak, who joins the cast as Don José, comes fresh from performances as Sergei in Shostakovich’s Katerina Izmailova at the Bolshoi Theatre.

Forthcoming highlights for Blendulf this season include concerts with Helsinki Philharmonic, Swedish Radio Symphony and Detroit Symphony orchestras, Het Gelders Orkest and Zürcher Kammerorchester.
