Daniel Blendulf makes his debut with Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra

Daniel Blendulf makes his debut in Japan next week with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra conducting two concerts with cellist Dai Miyata in Tokyo.
Performances take place at the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall on 11 June and the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre on 13 June. The programme features Sibelius’ The Swan of Tuonela, Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade Symphonic Suite.
In the following months Blendulf will return to Aalborg Symfoniorkester and debut with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra conducting a Sibelius, Prokofiev and Bartók programme. Blendulf also continues with the Dala Sinfonietta as its Chief Conductor and Artistic Advisor into the 2017/18 season.
