20/5/2016
This week, soprano Catherine Naglestad joins Orchestre symphonique de Montréal for her debut performances of Britten’s War Requiem under Kent Nagano on 25, 28 & 29 May.
Catherine has enjoyed an immensely busy season on the opera stage including appearances as Salome at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Senta (Der fliegende Holländer) at Bayerische Staatsoper and Cio-Cio San (Madama Butterfly) at Staatstheater Stuttgart, as well as her debut appearance at Staatsoper Hamburg as Cassandre (Les Troyens). Later this summer she joins the Gothenburg Symphony as Tove in Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder and returns to Opernhaus Zürich as Tosca.
