Esther Yoo​’s debut album for Deutsche Grammophon is released on 12 February. Recorded with the Philharmonia Orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Ashkenazy, the album includes the concerti by Sibelius and Glazunov as well as Sibelius’ Suite for Violin and String Orchestra and Glazunov’s Grand Adagio.

Prior to the release, Esther makes her concerto debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 under Sir Andrew Davis on 11 February.

Esther stays-on in Liverpool to play a recital in the Liverpool Philharmonic’s new venue The Music Room on 14 February. The programme features an arrangement of Sibelius’ Suite for Violin and Glazunov’s Grand Adagiofrom her new album.
