This week, mezzo-soprano Rachel Kelly makes her company debut for Scottish Opera, creating the role of Catherine in the world premiere of Stuart MacRae’s The Devil Inside. Opening on 23 January in Glasgow, the production goes on to tour throughout the UK and to Canada. 

A recent graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme at the Royal Opera House, Rachel has already returned to Covent Garden for her first guest engagement, and has several further debuts in the current season including with Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, at London’s Cadogan Hall and at Paris’ Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
