Alina Pogostkina returns from her sabbatical to make her debut with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra on 19 December. Marking her first performance in her hometown, she plays Sibelius’ Violin Concerto under the baton of Nikolai Alexeev.

The current season will see her perform concerts with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg and Helsinki Baroque Orchestra amongst others. She will also make her London concert debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra and feature in three concerts with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra as their 2016 artist in residence.
