Universally-acclaimed countertenor Andreas Scholl joins the kammerorchesterbasel and the Deutscher Kammerchor in a new departure as singer and conductor. On tour with both ensembles, they perform an all-Bach programme at the Alte Oper Frankfurt on 12 December, Martinskirche, Basel on 14 December, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Paris on 18 December, and Grand Théâtre de Provence, Aix on 22 December. They are joined by a quartet of young soloists — Iris Eggler, Nana Bugge Rasmussen, Christian Rathgeber and Johannes Hill.
