Andreas Scholl and Accademia Bizantina present 17th century rarities in London and Paris

Andreas Scholl brings his new programme with Accademia Bizantina, Invocazioni Mariane, showcasing cantatas by Porpora, Leonardo Vinci and Pasquale Anfossi, to London’s Barbican on 14 March and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées on 20 March.
Accademia Bizantina is an ensemble with which Andreas Scholl has long enjoyed a fruitful creative relationship, undertaking high-profile international tours and recording projects. The ensemble’s recordings have won numerous awards, including a Diapason d’Or, MIDEM and Grammy nomination for Purcell’s O Solitude with Andreas Scholl.
