Leila Josefowicz performs recitals in New York and Denver

Leila Josefowicz performs at Zankel Hall, New York, on 10 November, before appearing in the Friends of Chamber Music series in Denver, Colorado, on 15 November.
Accompanied by pianist John Novacek, Josefowicz plays Falla’s Suite Populaire Espagnole, Messiaen’s Theme and Variations, Schumann’s Violin Sonata No.1, Conversio by Erkki-Sven Tüür, and John Adams’ Road Movies. The same repertoire was performed as part of the Cal Performances series in Berkeley, California, on 8 November.
Later this month Josefowicz appears in Madrid with Susanna Mälkki and the Orquesta Nacional de España, performing Thomas Adès’ Violin Concerto Concentric Paths.
