HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome multi-award winning Polish composer and conductor Krzysztof Penderecki to its roster for personal management in Spain and Latin America, as well as for selected special projects worldwide.
As one of the world’s most distinguished musicians, many of Penderecki’s compositions are now considered masterworks of our time and in 2014 his music and life featured in a documentary by Anna Schmidt — ‘Paths through the Labyrinth’.
Described by the Chicago Tribune as “a conductor of the highest ranking”, Penderecki has been Artistic Director of Sinfonia Varsovia since 2003 and regularly leads performances of his works with international ensembles such as Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra and Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.
Upcoming highlights include the premiere of his new Harp Concerto by the Orchestre de Paris in a co-commission with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Orquesta Nacional de España, and performances with Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
