Sakari Oramo opens the 2015 BBC Proms season by conducting the First Night with the BBC Symphony Orchestra on 17 July.bThe concert includes works by Nielsen, Sibelius, Walton and Mozart, alongside a BBC commission and world premiere of Carpenter’s Dadaville.

Having performed at five Proms last year, including the Last Night, to widespread critical acclaim, Oramo returns to the Royal Albert Hall for two more Proms this summer, 21 and 29 August.
