This week Alexei Volodin plays Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 with Vasily Petrenko and the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra on 26 May.

Volodin continues to maintain a busy and diverse diary this season, on 29 May he travels to Hong Kong to perform with the Borodin Quartet, before giving a recital on 2 June in Zürich to open the Géza Anda Competition — of which he is a former winner. He then continues to London for a recital as part of the International Piano Series, playing a programme of Schubert, Chopin and Schumann on 5 June.
