Angela Hewitt directs the Swedish Chamber Orchestra from the piano in Bach’s Piano Concertos Nos.1 and 3. Performances are scheduled to take place at Örebro’s Hjalmar Bergman Theatre on 12 and 14 February, and at Kumla Church on 13 February. The programme also features two of Haydn’s Symphonies — Nos. 6 and 8.

These concerts mark Hewitt’s return to the Swedish Chamber Orchestra following her performances of Schumann’s Piano Concerto, conducted by Andrew Manze, in April 2010.
