Leila Josefowicz appears with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich on 30, 31 January and 1 February at the Tonhalle’s Grosser Saal.

Conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, Josefowicz performs his Violin Concerto — a work that he composed for her and which he led her in last year with the Filarmonica della Scala.

The concerts mark Josefowicz’s return to the orchestra after she performed with them in spring 2010, when she played Oliver Knussen​’s Violin Concerto, again conducted by the composer.
