Leila Josefowicz performs the Canadian premiere of Scheherazade.2

Leila Josefowicz returns to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with conductor Peter Oundjian to perform Scheherazade.2 by John Adams.
Marking the first Canadian performances of this piece, Josefowicz appears at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto on 4 and 5 May before performing in Ottawa (7 May) and Montreal (8 May).
Earlier this year Josefowicz performed Scheherazade.2 with the Finnish Radio Symphony and Sydney Symphony orchestras, the St Louis Symphony, the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Next season she will continue to perform this piece with orchestras including the London Symphony, Chicago Symphony and Minnesota orchestras; the Berliner Philharmoniker, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and San Francisco Symphony.
