Christian Tetzlaff performs Schumann’s Violin Concerto with Scottish Chamber Orchestra under Robin Ticciati in Edinburgh and Glasgow on 18 and 19 December. The programme also features Jörg Widmann​’s Liebeslied for Eight Instruments and Haydn’s Symphony No.103.

Later this season, Tetzlaff and Ticciati appear together with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, and Wiener Symphoniker in Schumann’s Violin Concerto. Tetzlaff recently recorded these two concertos with hr-Sinfonieorchester and Paavo Järvi for Ondine. 

Other upcoming UK performances for Tetzlaff include Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with London Symphony Orchestra under Daniel Harding on 24 May, preceded by a BBC Radio 3 lunchtime concert on 21 May featuring Bach’s Partita No.2 and his Violin Sonata No.3.
