Angela Hewitt appears with the National Symphony Orchestra, Washington, performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.22 in E flat, K.482, in concerts at The Kennedy Center on 9, 10 and 11 October.

David Zinman conducts the programme which also includes Schoenberg’s Five Pieces for Orchestra and Strauss’ Also sprach Zarathustra.

Hewitt’s recording of Mozart Piano Concertos Nos.22 and 24 with Hannu Lintu and Ottawa’s National Arts Centre Orchestra was released in July 2014 — the third disc in her series of Mozart concerto recordings for Hyperion.
