HarrisonParrott signs conductor Constantinos Carydis
23/9/2014
HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome Greek conductor Constantinos Carydis to its artist roster.
Autumn 2014 sees Carydis debut with Bamberger Symphoniker, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg and Orchestra Svizzera Italiana (in Lugano and at the festival Settimane Musicale di Ascona).
Also this season, with Bayerische Staatsoper he conducts Don Giovanni and a new production of Pelléas et Mélisande at the 2015 Münchner Festspiele. He has an equally close relationship with Oper Frankfurt where his work has included a performance of Barry Kosky’s critically acclaimed double-bill of Dido and Aeneas and Duke Bluebeard’s Castle at the 2013 Edinburgh International Festival. He returns to the house to conduct three new productions over the next few seasons.
Carydis joins HarrisonParrott for worldwide general management, in collaboration with Lorenzo Baldrighi in Italy.
